Follow these easy steps to add a new lead in Nutshell.

Click the '+ Add new' button at the top of the Nutshell interface.

Choose 'Lead.'

Name your lead. You can give it a custom name, like 'Sale to Company Name,' or leave it blank and let Nutshell fill in the name of the connected Company or Person.

Assign the lead to a salesperson, or choose 'Auto assign' and let your pipeline rules do the work.

If you have an estimated close date, fill that in.

Give the lead a value based on what products you're selling.

Assign the lead to the right pipeline.

Include a confidence percentage.

If you're feeling really positive, make the lead 'Hot' to prioritize it.

Then associate the lead with any companies and people involved with the sale.

Fill in the source that brought the lead to you and any competitors you're aware of.

When you're ready to save your lead, select 'Create lead.'

And, just like that, you have a new lead added to your pipeline in Nutshell!
